Area description

The objective of the Corporate Strategic Projects Team is to advise the Executive Committee on long-term strategy projects. In a nutshell, the team analyzes trends, what’s growing/not growing, competitive dynamics in the markets, etc. This can then be translated into M&A and Venture Fund recommendations.
 

Project description

The new joiner will support the team on a range of projects: 

• Research areas of opportunity beyond current footprint and capabilities
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and competitor offerings
• Assess internal capabilities and assets as well as readiness to enter new markets
• Gather internal and external data on the market, the competition, etc.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis (market sizing, business planning…)
• Gain exposure to broad view of a global business

Accountabilities

• Participate in the definition of the strategy and implementation of the strategic initiatives

Learning

• Learn to manage and analyze large datasets and turn them into recommendations.
• Learn to structure complex analysis and present them in a simplified and clean way.
• Learn to formalize recommendations for the Executive Committee

Requirements

• Outstanding record of academic achievement
• Proficient in English (minimum C1)
• Advanced user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Data analysis skills with SQL, Python or R are highly valuable
