This role will cover the Fullstack developer position of STEP (Safer Transport for Europe Platform). STEP is the Vodafone cooperative mobility solution that helps road users and road operators to make mobility safer, more secure and accessible.
As a Fullstack Developer trainee, you´ll have the opportunity to learn and apply your:
- Learn about designing and developing code, writing, and executing unit and integration tests, and supporting testing of deliverables against user and technical story acceptance tests
- Learn how to help in participating in code reviews
- See how is the structure of reusable codes and libraries
- Technical development and deployment tasks related with frontend and backend including improvement of quality and architecture and development of proofs of concepts in new technologies.
- Able to resolve complex operational issues, performance management and problems involving multiple technical domains.

- Strong knowledge of web platform fundamentals: HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS3, Responsive design
- REST API integrations
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
- Support timely delivery of technical solutions writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Ideally you have the following skills:
- Java SE/ Javascript, HTPP, MQTT, LwM2M, Kafka, various databases (SQL and non-SQL)
- Object-oriented programming
- AWS infrastructure or similar public cloud providers
- GitLab
- Communicate in English to connect with the community of engineers and developers
- Strong team spirit and high passion for Tech
