Vodafone is embarking on a global transformation of data & analytics leveraging innovative capabilities of google cloud and are looking for an experienced data transformation led to play a key role in enabling this large-scale delivery.

A Business Engineer is responsible for developing service/user processes and business designs to support a diverse range of Enterprise Business Unit and Local Market capabilities – in line with our targeted strategic growth areas.  

Working primarily within the New Product Development process, the Business Engineer ensures that we develop an end-to-end Customer Experience (CX) across the product lifecycle, aligned with Vodafone brand and industry best practice.

A Business Engineer has expert collaboration & stakeholder management skills in order to execute process engineering and analysis. Subject matter expertise in customer experience design and customer journey creation is essential in order to develop high quality service models

As a Business Engineer trainee, you´ll have the opportunity to: 

  • Help to be responsible for feasibility, design and timely transition to in-life of Enterprise Products service solutions/operating models driven by customer experience and cost-to-serve.
  • Learn interpretation of commercial product / business requirements into impacts and requirements on operational processes and IT
  • Cooperating with and coordinating different departments of the company at central and local level, e.g. Product Management, Legal & Regulatory, operational support and obtain necessary support for the definition of service solution proposals.
  • Supporting the selection of suppliers to deliver shared & managed services: define requirements, select supplier, and participate in contract negotiation.
  • Learn how to manage small to medium scale service delivery for centrally provided/supported enterprise products

Ideally you have the following skills:

  • Proven knowledge of, and process design experience within core Telecom operational processes & related systems (ITIL, eTOM)
  • Ability to relate fixed and mobile network  technology, processes, IT and people/organisation to provide a coherent solution with a strong focus on the customer experience
  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills, having worked within multi-disciplinary virtual teams, ideally in the telecoms or IT sector, providing complex solutions
