Vodafone is embarking on a global transformation of data & analytics leveraging innovative capabilities of google cloud and are looking for an experienced data transformation led to play a key role in enabling this large-scale delivery.

Do you enjoy working in an agile collaborative environment? If so, we are looking for a DevSecOps. You will be part of a dynamic team, designing and creating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules using the latest CI/CD practices.
Reporting to the Platform Engineering Manager, this is a crucial role in the ongoing development and support our Products and Platform Engineering teams. Participating in the complete agile SDLC, the DevSecOps will collaborate with the infrastructure, development and test engineering teams on solutions and platforms, responsible for configuring cloud hyperscalers and components of those environments to integrate with platforms and applications, writing infrastructure as a code using different scripting approaches.
The DevSecOps will enable Vodafone to quickly onboard solution providers, supporting the industrialisation process, identify and troubleshoot issues with vendors and different teams to enable project delivery, and be the catalyst and driver of cloud technologies for Vodafone’s IoT business
As a DevSecOps trainee, you´ll have the opportunity to learn and apply your:
- Work with the Infrastructure team to deliver and integrate for Digital Services platforms and solutions, and work with the Infrastructure team to deliver and integrate it, with attention to performance, capacity, cost and security considerations.
- Play an active role within the agile delivery team, ensuring evolving infrastructure requirements are identified and addressed in a timely manner, to enable the team to meet its commitments.
- Help in troubleshoot application layer configurations, design and infrastructure integration issues, identifying the appropriate resolving agency or taking direct ownership as required.
- Learn to drive the adoption ofcloud technologies domain in Vodafone IoT, creating specific capability within Digital Services.
- Implement DevOps strategy and best practices, using automated delivery and testing techniques, taking ownership of such within the cloud domain.
Ideally you have the following skills:
- Familiarity and experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools (Jira/Confluence).
- Excellent knowledge of CI/CD and IaC tooling (Jenkins, Git, Nexus, Ansible, Terraform, etc)
- Comprehensive Linux sysadmin experience, including use of modern web, SQL/NoSQL database and container orchestration technologies (i.e. Kubernetes)
- Programming experience using common scripting languages (Python, Go, Groovy, Shell, etc)
- Extensive experience with cloud hyperscalers and infrastructure best practices
- Hands on configuration and administration experience with Kafka, MongoDb, PostgreSQL, Camunda technologies
- Degree in a scientific or engineering subject
- AWS certification (desirable)
- Azure (desirable)
