What We Do
Our team Group Travel Management is responsible for managing and enhancing the entire business travel experience for Amadeus employees. This includes everything from booking flights and accommodations to ensuring compliance with travel policies and managing travel-related expenses. We aim to add strategic value to Amadeus by going beyond operational activities and focusing on the overall travel experience and cost efficiency.

Project description
One of the critical aspects of our work, and where you would be helping us, is managing travel expenses. We use advanced tools like Cytric to streamline the process of booking and settling travel and non-travel expenses. Our expense management system ensures that all travel and non-travel related costs are accurately tracked, approved, and reimbursed efficiently with our network of finance partners. This system helps us maintain transparency and control over travel budgets while providing a seamless experience for our travelers.
Accountabilities
- Help the Travel Expense Senior Specialist in getting expense-related KPIs to ensure compliance across the end-to-end process
- Assist travelers (Amadeus employees) in their questions, concerns and issues when settling their expenses after a business trip through the ticketing tool and communication channels
- Help maintain a robust expense settling tool like Cytric through service enhancements requests, testing and quality assurance
- Contribute to key corporate projects through testing of the solution before go-live to employees
Learning
- Travel Industry Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of the travel industry and Amadeus fundamentals.
- Expense Management: Get involved in creating and maintaining travel expense reports, by reporting KPIs, using tools like Cytric Insights, Excel and Celonis and ensuring compliance with travel policies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including finance, IT, and customer service, to support the implementation of travel management strategies and resolve travelers' issues
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Excel competency - intermediate
- Teamwork spirit - collaborative approach
- SAP knowledge (desirable)
- Communication skills
