Area Description: 

The Sustainability Office aims to make travel a force for positive change and is responsible for embedding and implementing the sustainability strategy within Amadeus. Its ambition is structured around four commitments:
1. Environmental: Fostering environmental sustainability
2. Social: Driving social impact
3. Social: Empowering our people
4. Governance: Being a reference for trust and integrity
We are looking for a recent graduate to join the Social Innovation team, to foster a more inclusive industry by empowering and supporting industry professionals, startups and small impact-driven businesses.

Project Description: 

This role is crucial to strengthening the Social Innovation team and its main projects:
• Social entrepreneurship programs: We run programs for impact-driven entrepreneurs in travel and tourism like Travel4Impact - that empowers small impact-driven businesses in the travel and tourism industry. After four editions, Amadeus has supported more than 120 entrepreneurs with Travel4Impact and now has a global network of 75 like-minded members. The 5th edition of Travel4Impact will kick-off in September 2025.
• Social Impact Measurement:  We map and quantify the social impact generated in different areas and among stakeholders within Amadeus through implementing a set of impact measurement and management practices.
• Social Innovation-Focused Partnerships: we develop partnerships with other key players in the industry to support impact-driven entrepreneurs and boost social innovation.
• Skills-Based Volunteering Initiatives: we lead volunteering initiatives (like the Expert Support Experience) to support impact-driven businesses by leveraging the expertise and skills of Amadeus employees.

Acountabilities

• Support the implementation of social entrepreneurship programs with a range of internal and external partners
• Conducting research on best-in-class social innovation initiatives and partnerships and systematize the information
• Organize and manage impact driven businesses, partners and initiatives databases, ensuring coherence and consistency and providing recommendations
• Analyze data sets and surveys to generate insights around the participants of our program, their satisfaction, and outcomes on their business to help improve programs design
• Support in communications creating messaging for application phase campaigns and run implementation
• Support the coordination of networking events with impact driven business including venue, catering, materials, attendees' management
• Help with the implementation of volunteering initiatives focused on supporting small business/startups by managing registration forms and volunteers' community chat, organizing matching data bases, support in coordinating meetings with volunteers and entrepreneurs.

• Acquiring knowledge on the social innovation landscape with a dedicated focus on the travel and tech industries (types of projects, partnerships, connection with corporation)
• Practice effective communication technics activating different tactics and channels
• Develop data management and analysis skills
• Learn how to transform data into actionable insights to improve programs and initiatives
• Develop project management skills to support project coordination
• Learn to systematize information and apply best practices to support impact-driven entrepreneurs.
• Develop teamwork skills
• Learn on how a sustainability strategy works and its main outcomes for a company. 

Please note that the duration of the internship will be 6 months and may be extended for a further 6 months.
