Area description:

We have a large number of customers, from single property hotels to large hospitality groups using a hospitality-specific web CMS and we are looking for a motivated person to join and learn in our development team.

You will report to the Web Operations and Development Manager and your main responsibility will be to build and develop new product features as well as maintain and give support to our internal operations teams and customers.

Project description:

Ensuring that you’ll:

• Proactively report to your tutor and management about your support.
• Learn how to document your development work, both in the code and in our internal documentation.
• Learn how to follow our testing and QA process to help ensure client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members, Product Owner, and other teams to help implement solutions within an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Support on management & implementation of requested changes or new features with optimal quality and with respect for the timeframes you commit to.
• Learn how to develop and understand our website products, CMS, and use that to create robust, efficient and widely-compatible code.   

Learn to perform daily scrums & routine code reviews.

Accountabilities:

You will be part of the team and you will participate and learn in:

• Developing high quality and efficient websites with integrated Content Management System, ensuring strong optimization and functionality.
• Introducing new cutting-edge front-end functionality to our websites, and keep up with the latest web and front-end related technologies.

Extending existing functionality, maintain existing codebase and help put in place and document best practices and procedures for front-end development.

Learning:

Working with us, you will learn:

• How a technical team works following AGILE / SCRUM methodologies.
• You will learn and reinforce your Web standards (W3C), accessibility (WCAG), Bootstrap, responsive and web optimization skills.
• Also, you will learn and reinforce your Vue.JS and Node.JS skills.
• Work on real-world projects and make meaningful contributions to the company’s success
• You will learn how to work in a Multinational Company and with a diverse and multicultural team.

You will learn about Hospitality sector.

Requirements:

Your Skills:

• Disciplined attitude towards code stability and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate actively in an agile, multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team.
• Experience with cross browser markup with a thorough understanding of browser bugs and incompatibilities.

As you will be part of team from different countries, it is necessary to be Fluent in English.
