SHERPA X is a CEO-led Business Transformation program that spans the entire Siemens organization. Its primary goal is to align our End-to-End processes, enabling them to operate more efficiently, effectively, and leveraging the latest technologies.
The “X” in SHERPA X represents cross-departmental and cross-geographical collaboration. It also symbolizes the amplified benefits achieved through this Siemens-wide initiative, surpassing the impact of smaller, isolated efforts.
SHERPA X impacts all Siemens employees. It is not just about technology but also about empowering people to work effectively with new processes and tools.
The Organizational Change Management Team plays a pivotal role in this transformation. We advocate for all employees impacted by SHERPA X, ensuring they understand the rationale behind the change, embrace it, acquire new skills, and adapt their ways of working.
Our Organizational Change Team is currently distributed across four countries, having established an effective way of working that ensures seamless support and involvement in a virtual team setup.
Communication is the cornerstone of our efforts. To strengthen our team, we are seeking a student with a background in communication sciences and a strong affinity for IT and technology. This student will bring fresh, next-generation perspectives to our messaging and help us effectively engage our audiences.
The student will be hosted by Siemens Spain, as she resides there, but will be fully dedicated to the global SHERPA X project. Siemens Spain will provide a tutor to ensure networking with the Spanish organization as well as HR and administrative matters, while content-related guidance will be provided by Sabine Vogl, Global Lead for Organizational Change and Communication for SHERPA X Product Business.
This approach aligns with the new ONETech company cross-functional way of working promoted by the Siemens Board. By fostering agility, accelerating decision-making, and leveraging cross-border collaboration, this strategy aims to supercharge Siemens' innovation and performance.
During the internship, the student will actively participate in and gain hands-on experience in the following areas:
1. Developing Communication Strategies and Concepts:
o Craft communication strategies and content tailored to various stakeholder groups across multiple channels.
o Ensure a seamless customer journey that aligns with our business goals and delivers measurable impact.
2. Building a Product Business Storyline:
o Collaborate closely with the Organizational Change Management team to develop a cohesive and compelling storyline for Product Business within SHERPA X.
3. Stakeholder-Centric Communication Planning:
o Design communication strategies and concepts for diverse target groups.
o Create clear and impactful messages aligned with the Stakeholder Experience Journey.
