Intern Compliance Officer
Your role:
Join the Wealth Management Compliance team at UBS Group as Intern Compliance Officer from which you will be supporting the Compliance team in Madrid office. Your main responsibility will be to provide high quality support to Senior Relationship. Being actively involved in the daily activities and providing assistance to the members of the Team in the performance of their day to day tasks. This is the ideal opportunity to develop good knowledge on the Compliance functions.
You will support the Compliance team in tasks such as:
• support the review/update of the compliance function's policies and procedures to ensure they remain appropriate, relevant and effective. • compliance monitoring and testing focus on overseeing and evaluating an organization’s adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements. • assist in the gathering of internal information in response to regulatory requests and regular reporting. • support on performing compliance risk assessments and analyze data to identify potential compliance issues. • extract of data and information for undertaking activities.

Your expertise:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who is looking for a challenging traineeship in Banking and Finance fulfilling the below criteria: • Currently undertaking a University undergraduate or higher education degree in Law, Economics or Business Administration. • Knowledge of the Private Banking & Wealth Management sector, financial products & services and the regulatory landscape is an asset. • A proven ability to apply a problem-solving approach with good quantitative and analytical skills. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work towards tight deadlines, taking full ownership of your tasks. • You possess strong Windows, Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word. • Ability to cope with pressure and a high level of flexibility, responsibility and attention to detail and diligent work approach with respect for our risk and control obligations. • Fluency in Spanish and English. • Evidence of strong communication skills and passion that will enable to connect with clients and colleagues to support a high service quality level.
