Area Description
The corporate communications team within Amadeus is responsible for managing the company's public image and ensuring consistent messaging across all external and internal channels. The team handles media relations, social media engagement, crisis communications, and strategic planning for corporate announcements and thought leadership initiatives. Additionally, the team collaborates with various departments to align communication strategies with business objectives and maintain a unified brand voice.
Project description
As and intern, reporting to a Senior Manager in the Global Corporate External Communications team, you will support initiatives to ensure Amadeus remains relevant and perceived as an influential industry leader with an increased share of voice among stakeholders and media.
This position would suit someone with an equal love of travel, technology, overcoming challenges and the ability to multi-task. The successful applicant has to be a strong team player, an engaged motivator with a mix of humor and seriousness whilst working very hard.
Accountabilities
The tasks would include but not limited to:
• Development of communication material: press releases, bylines, blogs, podcasts, videos, and social media.
• Strategic planning: Collaboration on corporate communications and business unit communications plans, as well as corporate thought leadership planning and execution.
• Media training for spokespeople: Preparing key individuals for media interactions and ensuring they convey the right messages effectively.
• Management of media interactions for senior leaders: Preparing them for interviews and coordinating media appearances
• Coordination of communication plans for senior leaders: Outlining objectives, target audiences, messaging, channels, and timelines for key initiatives, announcements, and events.
• Internal communications: Collaborate with Internal Communications team to craft messages that resonate with target audiences and reflect the company's vision and strategic priorities.

Requirements
Here is the list of basic requirements needed:
• Advanced user of MS Office
• Applicant needs to be a fluent English speaker with strong writing capabilities; other languages are a plus but not required.
• Candidate needs to have strong people-management skills, emotional intelligence & cultural awareness to be right for the role.
• Candidate needs to be a team-player, and used to working in a diverse cultural environment.
