AFW Energía is currently recruiting for Estimating Intern for the Commercial department in our Madrid office.

Wood is looking for students interested in accessing the professional world through external academic internships and offers the possibility to put into practice and expand the knowledge acquired during their academic career.

Students will get the opportunity to enter in Industrial Power projects.

The role is offered to fit in students of last academic year with limited pending course obligations.

The selected candidate(s) will cooperate assisting and directly performing – under the mentorship of senior colleagues – specific tasks as follows:

• Calculate sales price for proposals to customers, including:

1. Prepare budget according to scope of supply
2. Collect and fill in required material quantities
3. Analyze and select competitive prices from vendors
4. Input required workload/staffing

• Perform contingencies and risk probabilistic analysis
• Maintain and improve quantities and prices databases
• Commercial team support

Skills / Qualifications:

• Last academic year or master's degree in Chemical/Industrial/Mining Engineering or similar degree.
• Spanish language at native level
• Excellent command of English
• Microsoft Office including strong proficiency in Excel (formulas, dynamic tables, data queries, DAX and graphical analysis)
• Academic situation that allows signing an agreement with a university or training center
• Availability in the morning (daily dedication depending on the academic situation)
• Able to manage own time and ability to prioritize at busy times
• Interested in pursuing a career within engineering
• Good communication skills within a team and externally

Desirable:

• Palisade @Risk knowledge
• ProjectWise or other Document Management System
