Area description:

The EMEA region in Travel Unit encompasses the regions of Europe, Middle East and Africa, consolidating 139 Markets, with a wide range of customers on the Travel Seller side, including OTAs, TMCs, BTAs, RTAs and crucial Airlines customers covering shapers and highly influential operators.

The new EMEA organization strives to grow Amadeus further by exploring new opportunities through diversification, by expanding our addressable market in air with NDC and by supporting our teams development and learning.

Project description:

  • Governance model - planning and execution.
  • Analytical projects and initiatives co-driven with RevOps.
  • Manage strategic initiative program office.
  • Define strategic initiatives and key strategic projects across the unit.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly dashboards for reporting and status tracking.
  • Coordination of MBO and OKR setup and cascading.
  • Coordination and consolidation of OKR reporting and preparation for top management reporting / meetings.
  • Support VPO team and/or lead on key transversal/transformation initiatives requiring close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Interface with other VP offices to share best practices, seek consistency for strategic initiative and other executive reporting, ensure coordination and alignment on key leadership meetings and customer facing activities.

Accountabilities:

  • Work autonomously within defined processes and procedures and methodologies, takes standard decisions and may support the development of solutions to complex problems.
  • Receive instructions, guidance and directions from more senior level roles or manager with regular monitoring on the status of assignments.
  • May have specialized formal education or the equivalent work experience and has the required technical and functional skills and basic knowledge of the business.
  • Communicate and document known resolutions to problems or issues
  • Maintain a professional demeanour in the office and when interacting with other teams and/or clients.
  • Have a proactive approach to get involved in diverse projects and initiatives across the EMEA region.
  • Be willing to work and learn from the other VPO team members as well as from the rest of the TU stakeholders.

Learning:

High exposure to EMEA VP and Leadership team, TU overall strategy and priorities

Close collaboration with TU VPO as well as other regions and BL’s VPOs which will give the candidate the opportunity to understand how things work in other areas of the organisation, learn from them, and apply best practices.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish. French is a positive.
  • Teamwork spirit, proactive and eager to learn new things.
  • Flexible and adjustable to changing priorities and needs.

Please note that the duration of the internship will be 6 months and may be extended for a further 6 months.
